Yellow Rail secures its FIRST major contract in Scotland

Yellow Rail recently secured its first major contract in Scotland with First ScotRail, to replace all bodyside lights with laminated glass on Class 314, 318, 334, 320 EMU’s, Class 156, 158 DMU’s and MK2 coaches. The programme will be undertaken at multiple FSR sites including Shields, Corkerhill, Haymarket and Inverness Depots, with completion expected prior to October 2010.
This modification has been introduced to further improve passenger safety.
This project is an excellent example of Yellow Rail’s ability to deliver challenging, multiple site projects flexibly and effectively, in accordance with the Operator’s operational environment.
