Yellow Rail is currently expanding its operations and as part of this we are currently seeking to fulfil the following positions:

Project & Operations Manager

Our client requires an experienced and commercially astute Project Manager with a good track record within the Rail Sector.

Primary responsibilities of the role include:

· Project planning

· Delivering to time and on budget

· Identification and mitigation of risk

· Progress reporting

· Maintain communication and relationships with clients and staff

· Sub-Contract management

· Identify and initiate corrective action

· Post implementation review

· Successful delivery of significant and major projects

· Developing business specifications into project plans

· Establishing strong working partnerships with project members and other stakeholders to optimise project delivery

· Setting and agreeing acceptance criteria

· Ensuring that methodology is adhered to and all relevant documentation is delivered i.e. Project Initiation Document, Project Plans, Logs, Risk Assessments and Progress Reports

· Co-ordinating post implementation reviews

On-Train Rail experienced Electrical Fitters, Mechanical Fitters and Coach Builders

Several positions exist for experienced, professional electrical and mechanical fitters and coach builders to support existing and new projects. All candidates must have considerable experience of undertaking rail projects and be willing to undertake Yellow Rail’s competency assessment selection process.

Administrator

This role will be Derby-based and requires a people-oriented person who is organised and has previous office administration experience. The role will require the general day to day co-ordination of the Derby office, including management of Yellow Rail filing and documentation in line with the Yellow Rail management system, general administrative support duties.
