HomeThe company’s management team provides a combined experience of over 120 years in the rail sector, with experiences in consultancy, engineering, sales and marketing, compliance, customer service, methods, planning and operations. This wide-ranging experience provides our clients with a high level of assurance and ensures we have a detailed understanding of the challenges that our clients face in running a safe, reliable and profitable railway.
Andy Kevins M.A., B.A. (Hons)., M.C.I.M., AMRS., MIoD., DipM.Managing Director
Andy is the founder of Yellow Rail Limited. He achieved his BA (Hons) in Business and Finance at Leeds business school and his Masters degree in Marketing at Lincoln and Humberside University. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Directors. Following a successful military career he joined Schlumberger in 1990 working in industrial and utility sectors, progressing to Sales Director during his 9 years with the company. He moved from the utility sector to the rail sector in 1999 and has worked in senior national account management and sales positions for ALSTOM and Bombardier followed by 2 1/2 years as a member of the board for Joyce-Loebl Ltd, based in Gateshead, where he was responsible for global transport and defence sales and marketing activities. His final year prior to starting his own business venture was as sales and marketing director for Nomad Digital, a successful entrepreneurial, technical start-up company in the rail sector.
Andy is responsible for business strategy and general management activities of Yellow Rail. He also takes direct responsibility for all sales and marketing activities.

Helen KevinsFinance and Administration Director
Helen is the co-founder and company secretary of Yellow Rail. She brings considerable senior management expertise to the company, having experience of running small businesses and working in engineering, retail, and training sectors. Helen has spent the last four years working in the rail sector.
Helen is responsible for all financial management and interface with the Yellow Rail external accountants and general administration of the business.

Mark RobertsMethods and Planning Director
Mark is a senior manager with in excess of 25 years experience gained across the railway industry from within train operators, train builders, rolling stock owners and consultancies. Various management qualifications after serving a full railway engineering apprenticeship and a HND in electrical and electronic engineering.
Particular strengths associated with reliability improvement programmes, business management systems and detailed project planning against specific QCD targets. Additional experience in large multinational rail projects - such as the Jubilee Line Extension, Eurostar, Incheon Subway and Pendolino.
Mark is responsible for overseeing all planning activities of the company.
